What is this?

Economics. The word alone can bring an infinite number of thoughts, feelings and emotions. It can remind us of our portfolios and our 401K, our local diners and the international corporations, real estate sales, newspaper headlines, or the class some dreaded going to in college. Whatever it may be, the economy affects everyone from the CEO’s to the “9 to 5′s” to the freelancers. On the flip side, almost everything we do has an effect on the state of the economy, be it personal or global, and the changes in it influence our every day decisions. Knowing and understanding the trends and conditions, even a little bit, can help us make those decisions in a more sophisticated manner. 

     This is just my way of bringing you some of the stories, from major headline news to small local press releases and trying to explain them in a way that makes sense, giving my interpretations and predictions along the way. Information presented here will include not only Atlanta real estate market statistics and trends, but I will also encompass and interpret  the developments in companies based in the Atlanta area as well as any National and International events that can influence the Atlanta economy.
